These are the terms and conditions for rental of Trevillick Cottage. Please take the time to read them carefully.

Upon confirming your booking by paying a deposit you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Short term holiday rental is an agreement made between yourself, the Client and myself Melanie King, the owner. It will be entered into when the booking letter is issued and payment confirms all guests have read and agreed to the conditions below.

The rental contract is subject to the following conditions;

A deposit of £100 is requested with the booking letter.

The remainder of the balance is due no later than 8 weeks prior to the start date of rental. Non payment of the balance may be regarded as a cancellation of the contract by the client, for which the client shall forfeit their deposit and those dates.

For bookings less than 8 weeks away the rental fee shall be paid in full. All payments to be made in UK pounds sterling for the sum stated on the booking letter.

Any cancellation by the client for whatever reason must be made in writing. The deposit will be forfeited.

In the unlikely event that you have to cancel the holiday, please be advised that the deposit is non-refundable. If you have paid the balance of the holiday and have to cancel, and on the basis that we find alternative guests to cover the same days, we may give you a partial refund, this is solely at the discretion of the owner.

We strongly recommend that the client take out a cancellation insurance to safeguard against any costs incurred should the holiday rental agreement be broken. Unforeseen circumstances can arise and we cannot be held liable for the consequential losses - we will always endeavour to

re-let the time period to enable us to refund the client, after costs.

Only those clients, named on the original booking form are permitted to stay overnight at Trevillick Cottage, up to 6 persons (adults and children)+ 1 baby. Any changes to names of those staying must be confirmed in writing to the address shown on the booking form, at least 2 weeks before your arrival date.

We currently do not charge a deposit against minor breakages but a contribution would be welcome!
